George Jackson joins PR-Artists' roster

PR-Artists is delighted to welcome George Jackson to the roster for worldwide general management.

George is quickly making a name for the breadth and commitment of his work, whether in symphonic, opera or contemporary repertoire, building strong relationships with the orchestras and ensembles he conducts. He is in his fourth season as Music Director of the Amarillo Symphony.

Recent orchestral engagements include Orchestre de Paris, RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Israel Contemporary Players, Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, Brussels Philharmonic, Opéra Orchestre National de Montpellier and BBC Concert Orchestra. His ongoing relationship with Ensemble Intercontemporain sees him conduct the Ensemble at the Wigmore Hall in London later this month. Together they released the world premiere recording of Steve Reich’s Reich/Richter on Nonesuch Records, following successful performances of the work in Rome, Paris and Luxembourg. Passionate about contemporary music, George is eager to commission new music, most recently Michael Daugherty’s Cadillac Ranch: 10 Cadillacs featured in a documentary on PBS.  Cadillac Ranch: 10 Cadillacs
