ABOUT PABLO ZEIGLER

For decades, Buenos Aires-born, Grammy-winning pianist, composer and arranger Pablo Ziegler has been one of the most important figures in Argentine nuevo tango, the vibrant musical hybrid of traditional tango, American jazz, and European art music. Dan Bilawsky of All About Jazz affirms: “When  Astor Piazzolla departed this Earth in 1992, the torch was passed to his longtime pianist, who's been carrying it proudly ever since”. Pablo has performed at such esteemed venues as the Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Muziekgebouw, Sydney Opera House, Colon Theatre, Sala Villa- Lobos del Teatro Nacional, Seoul Arts Center, Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, Blue Note,Birdland, Ravenna Festival, Verbier Festival, SFJAZZ, JVC Jazz Festival and Tokyo Jazz Festival.

 

He has performed with orchestras around the world including the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, Royal Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Seoul Philharmonic, Houston Symphony, St. Louis Symphony,Vancouver Symphony and Stavanger Symphony.

 

Pablo has collaborated with artists including Emanuel Ax, Erwin Schrott and the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Highlights include winning the 2018 Grammy for Best Latin Jazz Album and debut at the BBC Proms in London.

 

ABOUT ANDREW VON OEYEN

Hailed worldwide for his elegant and insightful interpretations, balanced artistry and brilliant technique, Andrew von Oeyen has established himself as one of the most captivating pianists of his generation. Since his debut at age 16 with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Esa-Pekka Salonen, von Oeyen has excelled in a broad spectrum of concerto repertoire with orchestras around the world as we as performing recitals in some of the world’s best known recital halls and series.

 

As both soloist and conductor, he has led concerti and orchestral works by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Ravel and Kurt Weill.

 

In June 2016 he signed with Warner Classics.

 

Andrew lives in Los Angeles and Paris where he holds both U.S. and French nationality.
