As part of the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa Festival on June 17th at the Mala Arena Gliwice, Clark Rundell will conduct the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in the premiere of the programme 'Celebrating the Symphonic Legacy of Wayne Shorter', with the participation of jazz singer and bass player esperanza spalding.
The programme will include the symphonic compositions of Wayne Shorter: Causeway, Midnight in Carlotta's Hair, Orbits, Forbidden Plan-It, Interval, Gaia and, for the first time in Europe, the most important parts of the opera Iphigenia will be performed.
